5620 Gloss Clear Coat

Liquid with a milky appearance, which when drying obtains a shiny and transparent finish.

Can be diluted with 4011 for the highest gloss level.

General use:

For non-automotive applications such as exterior and interior, signs, art, hobbies, and general use.

Adhesion promoter. Createx Clears adheres well directly to most plastics, including urethane and ABS.

Transparent Between Layers - Also use to "lock in" other colors before gluing and masking or as a support for dried flakes or pearls.

Description
5620 Gloss Clear Coat
Dilute and mix:
Dilute Createx Clear 2 - 10% with 4011
Use 4011 with 5620 Gloss when painting over 80 ° F (27 ° C).
Mix and wait 10 minutes before spraying.
Lowers surface tension which improves flow and leveling.
Setting:
Airbrush: 0.5mm, 30/35 psi
Mini Gun: 1.0 - 1.2mm, 25/29 psi
Gun: 1.2 - 1.4mm, 24/28 psi
It can also be applied with a brush, both synthetic and natural hair, giving more time to dry.
App:
Apply 4 medium coats for hole-free coverage.
It is not necessary to scrape the underlying paint.
Do not apply wet or fluid layers, rather apply slightly wet layers,
Each layer should cover approximately 60-70%.
A 50/50 overlapping pattern works. Do not try to flow past the breaking points of the surface tension, forming craters.
5620 Gloss Clear will retain its best gloss level when applied with a medium moisture coat.
No adhesive layer is required.
Compatibility:
Generally compatible with any water-based paint, including all Createx Colors paints, except candy2o.
Drying times:
Estimated dry and cure times are set at 70 ° F (21 ° C) and 65% or less relative humidity (RH). Allow extended dry times in cooler or humid conditions.
Repaint times are approximately 10-15 minutes.
After applying the last coat, the wait time for gluing and handling is approximately 60 minutes.
Air dry 48 hours for complete set.
Cleaning:
Use 5618 Airbrush Cleaner, and for final cleaning use 4008 Restorer.
After they are completely dry, they can be cleaned with a towel or cloth dampened with water. Avoid using household cleaners.
