Special fast-drying adhesive for polystyrene
Fast setting, elastic adhesive film is colorless and does not age. Waterproof.
Glues extruded polystyrene also in combination with other materials, e.g. eg wood, paper, metal, ceramics, plaster, fabric and various plastics.
Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C.
The surfaces to be adhered must be clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
The adhesive is normally applied to both surfaces. The adhesion period depends on the amount of adhesive applied and the absorption capacity of the bonding material. Firm adhesion is obtained between 5 and 20 minutes after application. The correct moment of bonding is reached when the adhesive, when lightly touched with the fingers, is dry to the touch (known as the finger test).
Since this adhesive needs moisture to harden, you can speed up the process by breathing on one part of the assembly. The hardening process can take longer if the humidity is low.
It contains volatile and highly flammable solvents, so precautions must be taken during use and storage. Ensure adequate ventilation when used on large surfaces.
Light gasoline should be used to remove smeared adhesive and to clean work tools (brushes, etc.).
Store tightly closed and in a dry, cool place not exposed to frost.
