- Potassium ferricyanide (22.68 g)

- Ferric ammonium citrate (53.86 g)

Instructions:

Cyanotype is an ancient photographic process characterized by producing prints in monochrome blue.

Prints can be made on paper and fabric.

The process is simple, fill the two bottles with water, shake and let it sit for 24 hours so that the powders dissolve well. Under dim light, mix equal parts of the solutions from the two bottles to create the cyanotype sensitizer. Mix only the necessary amount since its effect lasts 2 to 4 hours and then it loses its effectiveness. Cover the surface with the mixture and let it dry in the dark. Now you can expose it to the sun with the objects or photographic negatives on top for between 3 and 30 minutes depending on the conditions. Put in cold water to clean for 5 minutes. Change the water until it is no longer dirty. Let it air dry for 24 hours for an excellent result.
