The Jagdtiger was a WWII german heavy tank destroyer. It was built using a lengthened version of the Tiger II chassis, to which a fixed frame housing a 128 mm gun had been mounted.

The first battle in which the Jagdtiger participated was in the Battle of the Bulge (at the end of 1944) where it constituted a clear threat to Allied tanks that were vulnerable to its cannon at effective distances of more than 3 km.
